Overview: This Facilitator’s Guide is meant to teach trainees to understand and critically evaluate research related to pathophysiology of PTSD and possible preventative strategies.  In particular, trainees will evaluate one proposed intervention to prevent PTSD, namely the use of a visual, cognitively demanding task (in this case, the game Tetris) to reactivate and then modify reconsolidation of a traumatic memory in the early days following the traumatic event.
